"People think that design is styling. Design is not style. It's not about giving shape to the shell and not giving a damn about the guts. Good design is a renaissance attitude that combines technology, cognitive science, human need, and beauty to produce something that the world didn't know it was missing."
These translucent bathtubs were presented at Cersaie 2011 and designed by the Belgian designer Michel Boucquillon. Geared toward modern, dynamic types, this bathtub is also available in color infused versions via a built-in lighting system in addition to the original translucent kind. Perfect for those seeking an extra special chromatic atmosphere. It is made completely out of a single piece of polyethylene (which is recyclable, durable and lightweight) by way of rotational moulding. Therefore, this freestanding illuminated bathtub is equally appropriate for indoor or outdoor use.
